Unfunded Children - Fees
This information is for unfunded children from Nursery 1 onwards. From September 2024, parents may also be eligible for 15 hours free funding per week due to the introduction of the Early Years Funding being rolled out by the Government for children aged 9 months +. The fees below are therefore for families not eligible for funding.

Ad Hoc Session Fees and How to Book
We offer ad hoc sessions for our parents requiring additional care on an ad hoc basis.
- Fees for ad hoc Nursery sessions from January 2025. Click here.
Ad hoc sessions are subject to availability. Please contact Mrs Helen Jenkins, our Head of Admissions via admissions@waverleyschool.co.uk, should you wish to book ad hoc sessions. If you wish to cancel an ad hoc session that you have already booked, please note that we require 5 working days notice otherwise the ad hoc session fee will be due in lieu of notice.
Swapping Days / Ad Hoc Sessions
We are regrettably unable to swap days if care is needed for a one-off occasion on a different day to your child's normal attendance day. This is because we need to ensure correct staff ratios. Parents are able to book ad hoc days depending on availability.
Notice Period at Waverley Nursery
- Changes Prior to Starting at Nursery. Should parents wish to make any changes to their booking as indicated on their Acceptance Form before their child has physically started at Nursery, then Waverley requires 3 full calendar months’ notice. This means that should parents wish to change a booking for March, then we require notice to be given by end of November at the latest, with December, January and February being the 3 full calendar months.
- Changes Once Started at Nursery. Once a child has started at Nursery, then we require two full calendar months’ notice of any changes. ‘Two full calendar months’ means that if parents give notice mid-September, then the two full calendar months are considered as October and November and parents are therefore liable for fees until end of November.
Holidays, Illness and Extended Absence - Fees
Fees are still due if a child is ill, goes on holiday or is away for a period of extended leave in order to guarantee the child's place when they return. If fees are not paid while away, it is regarded that a child has left the Nursery and Waverley reserves the right to offer the place to another family.
Not only do you take such amazing care of my son, the attitude of your team and constant detailed reviews and updates we get through Tapestry is just superb. (Mrs E)
