• Monday 4 July 2022 Sports Day 2022 On Friday 1st July, we held the Waverley Sports Day. For the children in Foundation, it was their first opportunity to take part in Sports Day alongside the rest of the school.
• Sunday 3 July 2022 Dads enjoy our Father's Day Stay & Play We had an amazing turnout for our Father's Day Stay and Play event. Our children were thrilled to see their Daddies (and Mummies) be able to join us for breakfast and play time at our Nursery. The children thoroughly enjoyed sharing their learning environments with their parents. Thank you to all those Mummies and Daddies who could attend.

• Friday 13 May 2022 Nursery 1 Babies Develop Their Sensory Skills The Babies in Nursery 1 at Waverley have been continuing to explore sensory play. They investigated brightly coloured gloves which consisted of water and paint. These were placed onto the light pad to enhance the colour, along with some coloured balls. This was to encourage the babies to engage in colour matching and colour recognition.
• Friday 13 May 2022 Nursery 3 Woodland Walks - Learning About Leaf Cycles Our Nursery 3 children have beenlearning more about leaves on their Woodland Walks this week. Now the leaves are fully out, they have been collecting a wide variety of leaves. They have then been learning about the different textures, shapes and colours of the many leaves growing around us. The children also learned about the life cycle of leaves and what happens to them throughout the seasons. Nursery 3 alsocompared the different colours of each of the leaves and learned how a leaf's colour changes throughout the year as we move from Spring to Autumn to Winter.
