Wednesday 9 April 2025 Outstanding Secondary School Success for Waverley Year 6 Pupils At Waverley, we are proud to support each child in finding the right secondary school that best fits their unique talents and aspirations. We're delighted to announce that our Year 6 cohort has received an impressive 48 offers from top secondary schools – with 87% securing their first-choice school.

Tuesday 18 March 2025 Ballet Watching Week Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome parents into Nursery for our latest Ballet Watching Week. The children were thrilled to showcase the wonderful ballet skills they have been practicing throughout the term. It was a joy to see their enthusiasm and progress on display. Friday 7 March 2025 World Book Day 2025 Yesterday, the children across the Nursery celebrated World Book Day! It was wonderful to see them arrive dressed as a fantastic array of beloved book characters. The day was filled with excitement as they took part in fun, themed activities that brought stories to life. Everyone had a fantastic time embracing the magic of books. See photos below:

Monday 10 February 2025 National Storytelling Week 2025 Last week was National Storytelling Week! Celebrated annually in the UK, the week provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the power of stories. For young children, it fosters creativity, language development, and emotional understanding by engaging them in tales that spark imagination.

Friday 31 January 2025 Chinese New Year Celebrations 2025 This week, we have been celebrating Chinese New Year across the Nursery. In honour of the global festivities, the children have taken part in lots of fun, themed activities across the week. Nursery 1 made their own snakes from coloured play dough, whilst Nursery 2 practised their Chinese writing using chopsticks. Over in Nursery 3, the children enjoyed tasting some Chinese foods, and Foundation made their own Chinese fans and lanterns.

Friday 13 December 2024 Shine, Star, Shine Christmas Production Yesterday, we welcomed parents in for the Foundation and Reception Christmas performance. This year, the children performed the nativity ‘Shine, Star, Shine,’ which tells the story of a big star, who must light the way to the stable where Jesus has been born, but he can't shine. It takes help from the other stars and love from Jesus, to ultimately give the big star the strength to shine again.
